Terms and Conditions for Global Express™ Members

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:

'Global Express Transactions' means transactions conducted between a Member and a Merchant whereby the Member purchases goods or services from a Merchant for a specified amount and the Merchant records the transaction by using the Member's 'Global Express' card.

'GEC' means the Global Express Card issued to a Member by Global Express Card Pte Ltd.

'Member' means the person who is a member of the program and whose name and signature appears on the GEC.

'Program' means the scheme by which Members are able to receive discount or added value from the Merchant and are also entered into the prize draws.

'Discount' means the discount or some form of added-value offered by the Merchant to the Member at the time of purchase for goods and/or services from the Merchant.

'Merchant' means a merchant who has been authorised by Global Express Card Pte Ltd to participate in the Program.

Program Membership is offered at the discretion of Global Express Card Pte Ltd, and Global Express Card Pte Ltd has the right to accept or reject any application for Membership, or to terminate Membership in the Program at any time with or without notice.

Membership in the Program is not transferable and cannot be assigned.

Global Express Card Pte Ltd will use its reasonable endeavours to transmit relevant material to Members to advise them of matters of interest including changes to the Program, but Global Express Card Pte Ltd will not be liable for failure to do so. Any notice will be deemed to have been given by Global Express Card Pte Ltd if posted to the Member's mailing address.

Each Member will only be entitled to receive discounts or added-value on the Member's GEC Transactions if the Member presents their GEC at the time of purchase and the Merchant records the transaction using the Member's GEC. The discount to be offered to the Member by the Merchant is predetermined by the Merchant and Global Express Card Pte Ltd, and is offered to the Member at the Merchant's discretion.

Global Express Card Pte Ltd does not accept any liability whatsoever in connection with a Merchant's refusal to record a GEC transaction or a Merchant's failure to upload all the Merchant's GEC transactions in accordance with Global Express Card Pte Ltd's requirements, and any other failure of the Merchant to comply with the Merchant's obligations under these terms and conditions. Global Express Card Pte Ltd shall not be liable whatsoever in connection with (i) any loss, theft or compromise or unauthorised use of the GEC and (ii) the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of any information or material or advertisement provided to Global ExpressTM Members.

The Member authorises Global Express Card Pte Ltd to use the information contained in this application for marketing and promotional purposes only. No information will be disclosed to any third parties (other than authorised Partners, Merchants and their Agents and Contractors who are bound to hold such information in strict confidence).

By signature and/or use of the GEC the Member accepts these Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time and agrees to be bound by them. Membership in the Program is subject to these Terms and Conditions and any rules, policies or procedures (Program Rules) that may be adopted by Global Express Card Pte Ltd from time to time.

The Terms and Conditions may be changed, amended or varied at any time by Global Express Card Pte Ltd in its discretion without assigning any reason therefore. Global Express Card Pte Ltd will notify the Members of any change, amendment or variation. Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions and the Program Rules, and abuse of the Program or any misrepresentations of information to Global Express Card Pte Ltd may result in the termination of the Membership in the Program or the cancellation of the Member's entitlements.
